The Alsace 2 Flammkuchen oven is a manageable normal voltage oven with two independently controllable baking chambers. The upper and lower heating elements can be adjusted separately. The viewing windows and illuminated chambers allow the user to keep an eye on the baking process without opening the door and letting the heat out. The oven requires 20 to 30 minutes to heat up before it can be used. The cooking time for a Flammkuchen at roughly 290°C is approximately 3 1/2 minutes. The oven is very transportable, meaning it is easy to use at catering events, street festivals or in a beer garden.
